Mrs. Goettsche grew up in Holden, Utah. She got married after High School, had four children, and decided to go to college to become a teacher. Goettsche graduated from Southern Utah University, then had two more children. Goettsche got a job teaching at Fillmore Middle School where she taught: Science, Art, Pre Algebra, Drama, Family and Consumer Science (Home Economics), and CTE. She taught at Fillmore for 14 years. After divorcing, Goettsche married Brad Goettsche from Hurricane and moved to Saint George in 2006. Last year, she taught at Desert Hills Middle School. This year, she had the opportunety of teaching here at Fossil Ridge Intermediate. It is a fantastic place to be.
