Fossil Ridge Faculty >> Language Arts >> Mr. Lorentzen
The white blanket of cold that covered the Sierra-Nevadas had just been tucked away for another year. The flowers of spring were blooming in full glory when a wonderful, awesome, completely cool baby boy was born. His parents decided to name him Robert Lorentzen. Robert did not grow up in the shadows of the mountains
for very long. Rather, he grew up with the fruits and vegatables of the San Joaquin Valley in the small town of Visalia. There he spent his days playing soccer, swimming, playing water polo, and staying out of trouble. The years went by fast and after graduating from Golden West High School he moved to Utah, then on to France, and back to Utah
where he met the most beautiful girl ever. She quickley fell for him and they were soon married. Five children later, Roberts wife is still the most beautiful women ever and still head-over-heels for him. Robert likes traveling and has visited many diffrent countries and states. He recieved his Associates degree for Dixie and his Bachelors from UNLV. Lorentzen
taught 5th grade in Las Vegas for three years before coming to work at The BEST School in Washington County, maybe even the state of Utah. He is currently working on his masters form Southern Utah University while coaching soccer and football.
