Fossil Ridge Faculty >> Language Arts >> Mrs. Monkres
Mrs. Monkres has been teaching for 8 years. She began her teaching career in Weber County at Bonnevile High School. While at Bonnevile, she taught 11th grade English and WSU Communications. She also spent the past 8 years coaching the drill team.
Mrs. Monkres moved to St. George in June with her husband and daughter. They love the heat and will not miss the snow one bit! When not at school, you will often find her running her daughter around, wandering aimlessly around Target, or enjoying some kind of
ball game! She enjoys attending baseball and football games. Monkres also has become very wrapped up in her Nintendo Wii.
Perhaps the most exciting part of working at Fossil Ridge is being close to her brother, Mr. Pfunder. She is much wiser and well, lets face it, much smarter. She is happy to be closely keeping
an eye on Mr. Pfunder to keep family embarrassment relatively low.
Mrs. Monkre's dream in life is to travel around the world playing the drums for U2. If that does not work out, she will settle for Metallica. After retiring from the band, she plans on playing professional golf
so she can play around with friends all day, eat lunch, and use it as a tax write off!
