Julie Ann Cordero is a T-rex through and through. She student taught world history at Fossil Ridge during the fall 2006 before joining the faculty as the Utah Studies teacher during the 2007-08 school year.
Julie Ann earned her first degree from Utah State University in December 2003. She studied jounalism and worked on the student newspaper, The Statesman, and the local newspaper, The Logan Herald-Journal and the Ogden Standard Examiner. She
covered sports assignments for all three publicants. Julie Ann did an intership in Reading, PA where she covered sporting events,
including the McDonald's LPGA golf tournament and Philadelphia Eagles trainig camp.
When Julie Ann realized that her true
passion was being in the classroom, she decided to go back to USU and get a teaching license. Cordero is endorsed to teach History
and Social Studies. She is planning to start on a Masters Degree in Education soon.
Julie Ann is married to David Cordero
and they have one wonderful son, David Jr. They also have a cat named Chipper.
